Pastor Stephanie Woods is a Lutheran pastor, wife, mother, and occasional adjunct professor who considers it a deep honor to walk alongside people in their lives of faith. A born and bred Lutheran, she first sensed a call to ministry while serving as an acolyte in middle school. Since then, her love for worship, preaching, and pastoral care has continued to grow.

Pastor Stephanie holds a B.A. in Religion from Ashland University, a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School, and a Ph.D. in Church History from Boston University. While she values formal theological education, she most treasures what she has learned through accompanying people on their spiritual journeys. She regularly writes and teaches her own curriculum, seeking to make scripture and theology come alive in meaningful and accessible ways.

She is married to David Woods, a high school math teacher and robotics coach at West Holmes High School. They met singing in the choir at Ashland University, a beginning that still shapes their shared love of worship and music in the life of the church. Together they are raising two young children, Ollie and Penny, and learning daily to practice patience and receive each moment as a gift from God.

In her free time, Pastor Woods enjoys reading, knitting, quilting, playing board games, and savoring a good cup of Goldberry coffee.
